it all started
it, the mayhem, the tree-killing mayhem, started last summer at about this time. a particularly bad not spectacularly bad but a day of a level of maroseness. they, the bastards, came and tore down about twenty trees. just trees. they left the screaming feral cats for the vaguely asian lady to feed and water sometimes invisibly but not always. sometimes seen. the trees, the twenty or so gone trees witnessed, what, riots? shootings and shoots.
